4. Add results A and B together then subtract result C from this number. This will be result D. Add 66 to result D if you are male and 65 to result D if you are female. Write this number down because now we have to consider your activity level.

5. If you are sedentary you will multiply the base maintenance calorie level found above by 20%, light activity you will multiply by 30%, moderate activity you will multiply by 40% and very active or extremely active you will multiply by 50% and 60%.

6. Take the result you got from multiplying your activity percentage and add that to your base calorie maintenance level. This is the amount of calories you need to take in each day to maintain your current weight.

An easier way to find this number is to search online for a daily calorie maintenance calculator. These calculators will make the calculations for you.

Use the number you receive as your daily calorie maintenance amount and reduce your daily caloric intake by 500 every day. When you reduce your caloric intake by 500 you will lose approximately a pound per week for as long as you do this.

So as you can see how to lose weight without exercise is pretty simple. Just follow your calories closely, and you will start to see the weight disappear.
